Founding Principal Ambrish Arora, in conversation with Troy Schaum, an architect with New York City and Houston-based practice SCHAUM/SHIEH and a Professor at the Rice School of Architecture, Houston. PLAT Journal is an independent architecture journal published by students at the Rice School of Architecture. Founded in 2009, its purpose is to stimulate relationships between design, production, and theory. It operates by interweaving professional and academic work into an open and evolving dialogue which progresses from issue to issue.
